Stephany joined CHIL in December 2015. She completed her MSc in 2014 at the University of Stellenbosch, where she focused on developing and validating a real-time PCR method to establish gene expression profiles of potential biomarkers in the skin with the goal of quantifying the degree of photoaging of the skin. Before CHIL, Stephany worked as a senior research associate at Synexa Life Sciences, where she gained extensive experience in method development and validation in molecular biology and flow cytometry based projects, along with management and training of junior staff.
