Ellen Shrontz, BSc (Biology)

Ellen joined CHIL in October 2016. She graduated from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, completing an honors thesis on the regulation of human insulin-like growth factor receptor expression by kruppel-like factors. Ellen also has conducted research at the Institute for Systems Biology, The University of Chicago and SEngine Precision Medicine. Skills honed through these experiences include tissue culture, qPCR and RNA extraction.
